Hey everyone, I need to be honest—I used Windows 7 for my first build back in 2011. The shame was really weighing on me, so I ended up buying a legitimate copy instead. But while I was using the pirated version, I didn’t see any major issues. Still, I’m curious: how do pirates manage to produce such high-quality copies that feel so authentic? What makes them so convincing? This has been bothering me for a long time. I have friends who’ve never installed an OS and have always gone with illegal versions. Would love to hear your thoughts on this.

I believe every unauthorized Windows copy must be eliminated and rendered inactive. Not me.

I believe if you've bought a Windows 7 copy before, you should be able to fix it or handle the issue if your activation fails. (unless you misused the key somehow—like selling or giving it away while keeping it active). There are certain programs that can remove Windows 7 activation problems so it remains updated without needing activation at all.

I believe you should pay $100 for a crucial component of your computer. Stop the profits from Microsoft—they deserve compensation for their software, regardless of its flaws or inconveniences. Never use pirated Windows, not ever again.

They need to allocate a third of their monthly earnings to cover the cost of a single license. I understand they should purchase it, even though the price remains consistent globally, but individual financial situations vary.

I completely understand. After purchasing a key, the feeling of responsibility fades away! I probably will end up opening my copy of 10 again next year.

Hey there! It’s cool you’re sharing that vibe. Just remember, it’s okay to feel a bit awkward about that. Keep it light and enjoy the conversation!
