A few days back there was an unexpected power spike in my office at my apartment. Once it settled, I realized my PC wouldn’t turn on. After trying everything for the whole evening without success, I suspected my PSU might be dead. I decided to replace it with a new Corsair rm750e. After installation, the problem persisted. Pressing the power button lights up but then it flashes rapidly—something unusual. All fans spun, yet nothing appeared on the screen. USB ports functioned normally, the keyboard connected via Bluetooth, and the speaker activated when the PC started. In short, I’m completely unsure what’s wrong. Could my GPU or CPU be faulty? Are all power connectors secure at 100%? I heard a click for each port, but nothing else. My specs are: graphics card MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ventus 2X 12G OC, motherboard ASUS Prime B760-K D4, RAM 2 x 8GB Kingston Fury Beast DDR4 3200, SSD Kingston NV3 1TB PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 NVMe, CPU Intel i5-12400F, and I’m using a new Corsair RM750e PSU (previously Antec Bronze Power Supply, 550W 80+ Bronze).
