Hello, I'm not very experienced with PC building, but I'm struggling to get under 100 FPS in CS2 Deathmatch. I've already reduced my RAM to two 8GB 3200 series units, but the issue persists. I'm looking for advice and hope this helps (lmao!). PC specs: Intel Core i5-12600K, Nvidia RTX 3080, RAM setup as listed. MBD: Asus TUF GAMING B660-PLUS WIFI D4. Thanks!
I've tested low-med-high and it seems almost identical across all configurations.
100 frames per second at which resolution works best—whether 4K or 1080p. When you mention going down, the frequency and average are specified.
I usually use 4:3 resolution, either 1280:1024 or 1024:960, and I often drop out. I began a FPS benchmark map from Workshop, which claimed an average of 247 fps, but it drops when I play online.
Install the two fastest RAM modules in the dual channel slots, skip the rest. Activate the higher speed setting in the BIOS and test it.
Are you asking about the fastest RAM speed between A1;B1 and A1;A2? I experienced issues with both at 3000MHz, so I reduced it to 2400MHz again.
Use sticks from the same kit with matching speeds. A2 and B2 recommended. Faster RAM profile in BIOS should work. The low speed is quite slow.
Sure, I did that too. When I used Faceit, my computer would slow down and even freeze at times. That’s why I replaced the other two RAM sticks.
It seems like my system was running at around 70% capacity, which should have been sufficient. But it feels really strange to me.
