My computer isn’t starting up, please assist. Last night I used my PC normally—just for a call and watching videos—then suddenly it shut off, restarts, loads Windows but shows no screen at all. No BIOS info or logo appears. Fans spin, LEDs light up, everything seems fine except the display. USB ports work, but the screen doesn’t. I tried resetting the CMOS battery, swapping RAM, GPU, and PSU onto a new board (AM4 to LGA 1151), which worked perfectly. Now I’m unsure if the board or CPU is faulty. I plugged in the buzzer to check for beeps; nothing came out. I thought the board was dead since it wouldn’t beep if the CPU failed, but now both seem okay and I’m confused about what’s wrong. My specs are: Micro-ATX Asus TUF Gaming A520M-Plus II SktAM4 - unknown AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 8-core 3.4GHz (turbo 4.6GHz) 36MB SktAM4 - unknown Zotac GeForce RTX 2070 Mini Twin Fan 8GB GDDR6 - working Cooler Master MWE Bronze 550W - working (2x 8GB) G.SKILL Trident Z 16GB 3600hz CL15 - working, etc.

I’m only interested in which one isn’t working for sending it to warranty, but if there’s a fix outside of that, it’d be awesome.

It might be because the CPU dislikes that combination of RAM. AMD chips have specific needs—start by testing with just the G.Skill modules or only the Corsair ones to determine the issue.

Consider reaching out to a friend with a similar AMD system. Have them run the CPU on their machine and check the CPU and other parts on your motherboard.
