your pc has been unstable lately after installing the h100i cooler.
So I have recently changed my normal cooler for a h100i water cooler and I have went from 250 fps in CSGO to now 100 since I installed it. If anyone could help me figure out the problem it would be much appreciated Here is my build: Mother Board: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6813128651 Graphics card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814121899 Power Supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6817139028 Processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6819113285 RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6820231416 SSD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6820721108 Had Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6822148840 Old Cooler: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6835103099 New cooler: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019EX...UTF8&psc=1
I don't have a physical cooler, but I'm ready to help you with any questions or advice about cooling systems! What's your concern?
The only way a cooler impacts performance is when it fails to cool adequately and forces your CPU to slow down. Consider tools like Aida64, MSI Afterburner, or RealTemp to monitor temperatures during games; if your PC isn't throttling and temps are normal, another system component might be the problem.
I have checked temps and they have been staying at 35. also another problem ive been having since I installed the cooler is that when I join a voice chat like skype or sicord my mic and keyboard turn off and on
Confirm the cooler is set up correctly. (verify the backplate)
I would re link the cooler to the power source and attempt a different power connection than before. Also, this might look silly, but double-check that Shadow Play wasn’t activated in the background. I had trouble with FPS in Overwatch and figured it wasn’t just the new RAM—it was NVIDIA turning on Shadow Play after installing a driver.
