It seems it's likely the 1080p resolution. If you've noticed games running at 1440p elsewhere, then 1080p feels like a drop in visual quality. It works well for fast-paced action like PVP, but for deep immersion in titles such as Witcher 3, it doesn't quite meet expectations.
all the pictures you sent in seemed okay... but perhaps some adjustments could help with better color accuracy. Many displays aren’t very bright by default—often they’re too intense or overly saturated unless you use premium screens that are carefully calibrated. Usually, they come out too vivid unless you opt for high-end models where calibration is done properly before shipping.
This matches the 2K model listed on ViewSonic's site. It's the same display found on ASUS.
