I possess a vintage laptop that I no longer use due to its limited battery life. It remains connected to the power source on my desk, and I’m curious about its future use. The SSD and wired internet connection are sufficient for now. Regarding performance, it runs on an AMD FX-7500 with integrated R7 graphics featuring six cores and 8 gigabytes of RAM (about 1 gigabyte allocated to VRAM). This setup should handle light server tasks comfortably. It’s suitable for small-scale use with friends, but keep in mind its capabilities are modest.

It would function well as a friend server when using vanilla. For mods or plugins, it might behave differently.
