I switched the cable and case recently. After a cold start and while watching YouTube, I’m confident the audio still works. I can pause and resume videos easily. It’s unclear if all the freezes happened after cold starts, but it seems to work when I update something major or force a fresh boot like switching hardware or updating BIOS. As I mentioned earlier, the shortcut didn’t help.
