I purchased an MSI MEG x570 UNIFY from Newegg some time ago and have been eagerly awaiting a replacement 5000 series CPU for my latest build. While browsing reviews last night, I came across a negative review featuring photos that showed someone’s mother having shipped it with an unusual liquid on the sides. I examined my unit and noticed the same issue—more like a dry oil or wax, but it still doesn’t come off. Is this typical? Should I keep using it or should I return it for replacement?
