My current PC is really poor, and I can't find parts in Latvia. I'm thinking about buying a new one. I just need to know if the Intel i3-10300 with an NVIDIA 1050 Ti will work well for games like Roblox, Cities Skylines, Hearts of Iron 4, or Minecraft in 1080p.

It works well for 1080p gaming in those types of titles. Even classics like Witcher 3 or RPGs from that era would run smoothly with minor graphics adjustments.

You can enjoy AAA games at lower to medium settings. City Skylines might be tricky because it’s CPU-heavy and could strain your system. Think about upgrading to an AMD processor, similar to older models like the 2600 or 3600 if they’re available used.

I tested Cities Skylines on a laptop equipped with an Intel i3 3110M processor and integrated Intel 4000 graphics, and everything functioned smoothly.

It's absurd to think an i3 10100 with a 1050 ti will cause any CPU bottleneck, even in Skylines... This chip works well when you can buy it for under $100. For graphics, aim for something better—1050 ti is quite slow. If you can't wait for the rumored RTX 3050, go with an RX 570 or a used GTX 1060.

He wasn't referring to an issue with this configuration. The concern is about a new GPU. Skylines should still function fine. The problem becomes apparent as the city size increases, causing noticeable and bothersome frame drops.
