My new PC began looping after boot, but it was fine before. It’s only been about two weeks. I’ve checked the GPU, RAM, and M.2 SSD. Removed the CMOS battery because I turned on XMP, though that didn’t fix it. Unplugged all PSU cables and tried rebooting again (except the motherboard, which is tricky). I swapped out a different RAM module and started without the GPU in another PCIe slot. I’m unsure what else to try now. [Video of the loop](https://imgur.com/a/8ODgPvb) MoBo: ASUS Prime Z790-P Wi-Fi d4 CPU: i5-13600K RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 4000 C19 Power Supply: 2060s ROG (used)

Removing the CMOS battery alone may not fully reset it. Extend the time or access the clear CMOS header on your motherboard. If unsuccessful, disconnect all unnecessary devices—except one RAM stick, add-on cards, discrete GPU, HDDs, SSDs, USB drives, etc.—and test each in every slot.

We should not eliminate those components. Our goal is to exclude a faulty device stopping the motherboard from entering POST mode. The AIO and fan controller won't cause this issue, but they might lead to electrical problems with different signs. For this test, just remove any devices that could be started and checked during POST.

You’ve cleared everything and placed both RAM sticks into every boot loop. Also, shorting the pins isn’t required—just assuming you shouldn’t power up the PC unless specified.

Ensure the device is disconnected and the power supply is turned off.

There are no debug lights visible on your motherboard. If the issue continues, connect the included speaker to listen for the beep codes.

I wasn't aware there were no debug LEDs included. The product doesn't come with a speaker, so you can definitely use a standard one.

It seems the main issue might be with the motherboard itself. If I had your situation, I’d look for a replacement part or contact support. Otherwise, I’d proceed with the return or repair process.

I believe it's best to return the product and purchase an upgraded alternative.
