Hey everyone I really need help, when my uncle built my pc like 2 years ago he did not keep any of the boxes for the hardware. So i upgraded my gpu but I cant upgrade my cpu until I find my motherboard brand name and I don't know how to do it without the box and I need this for me playing vr games without this i cant or it runs but there's a lot stuttering right now i have in it is a CPU Intel® Core™ i7-2700K CPU @ 3.50GHz Base speed: 3.50 GHz Cores: 4 Logical processors: 8 GPU Radeon RX 570 Series Driver version: 27.20.14527.2002 Driver date: 1/18/2021 Dedicated GPU memory 2.2/4.0 GB

Open CPU-Z, navigate to the Mainboard section. Take a screenshot of the information it displays. Also, confirm that the temperature listed isn't 2700K but rather 2600K.

It’s hard to say precisely without seeing the device, but a 2700K rating usually matches most Intel CPUs from the second and third generations when the BIOS is up to date. Anything beyond that may not work.

2700K is slightly higher than 2600K, similar to the difference between 11700K and 11900K, yet a CPU upgrade doesn’t seem feasible.
