This board handles booting smoothly at 1920x1080, maintaining that resolution throughout the process without any interruptions. The GRUB menu stays consistent, transitioning seamlessly to either Linux or Windows at the same display size. The visual mode loads without glitches, and the bootloader remains stable. Unlike other Z97 models such as GA-Z97N-WIFI, Z97M-D3H, Z97M Pro4, or Maximus VII Impact, this one preserves the intended resolution setting from power-on. For Z490 builds, I’m curious how this setting will behave during upgrades to Z490 and Z490X boards. Please share your observations on mode configuration and display behavior. Your motherboard model is important, along with any details about your graphics card or boot configuration. Thank you!
