I've tested this game on several machines priced over £900, but it keeps stuttering even at high FPS. On three computers, I'm seeing performance drop significantly, and optimization tools help only marginally. The issue persists across different configurations, sometimes stalling at 30fps or less despite pushing beyond the refresh rate.

No, not all PCs have 64-bit Java installed.

What kind of display do you use? Also, do you have Java installed?

Adjust the frame rate to match your monitor's refresh rate.

The system displays 64-bit Java after pressing F3 on every machine. It seems the newest Minecraft update already sets up 64-bit Java for you.

I understand minecraft automatically saves every two seconds, which could lead to lag. Certain mods might alter the saving frequency.

Yes, I have 64-bit Java and a quality monitor. Set your FPS to match the refresh rate.

Personally in Vista I notice stuttering during Minecraft play, so do all your machines have the latest OS? With a 760 Ti OEM model it was supposed to run smoothly on Vista, but on others it performed much better—want to consider that.
