I also switched from Windows 7, but there was no success with drivers at all. I couldn’t even revert to Mac OS.

Refers to the standard installation method for Windows 7-8-9 (≈-10).
Did not use any third-party bootloader during setup.
Ran MOS High Sierra at purchase time.
Holding OPTION during startup did nothing.

I just wanted to clarify for future searches that the 2009 MacBook isn't the original model. It's actually the 2006 version with a Core Duo processor—not the Core 2 Duo you have now. This clip demonstrates what a Core Duo MacBook can accomplish, though it's restricted to 32-bit applications.
