I haven't used this laptop in a few weeks so I decided to charge it up. But when I turned on, nothing happened. No lights and no fans worked at all. When I opened the laptop, here is what I tried: I reset everything by unplugging the power, unplugging the battery, holding down the power button for thirty seconds, reseating the CMOS battery, reseating the RAM, reseating the main battery, plugging in some cables like IOCN1, IOCN2, and CP1, and pressing the Novo button. None of those worked. The laptop still wouldn't turn on. I also tried turning it on without any power source, but nothing happened yet. However, when I put my ear close to the motherboard while I was holding down the power button, I heard a coil whine sound that lasted for five seconds, and no sounds at all once I unplugged the battery.

If you've tried taking the laptop out of its power completely and then putting it back in again, checking the memory sticks too while unplugged, but only using the charger without the battery inside, it seems like something on the motherboard isn't working right for the power supply. Basically, that part might be damaged or broken. If you're still under warranty, just ask them to fix it through their return process.
