You have a fresh CPU installed, but the system isn’t booting properly—only the fans are running. The old CPU worked fine, and the new one is overheating. The motherboard isn’t showing any beep codes. This suggests a potential issue with the power delivery, cooling setup, or possibly a faulty motherboard component. Check the CPU cooler fit and ensure it’s properly seated. Verify the power supply is delivering stable voltage and consider testing with a different cooler or fan. If the problem persists, consult a technician for further diagnosis.

The updated processor is the new CPU model. Your previous CPU was the older version. The motherboard remains the same.

Hi there! Are you looking to share your system details? Many recent motherboards lack a built-in speaker, meaning you'll need to add one yourself to hear any notifications.

Did you put thermal paste in place? Ensure the cooler is secured correctly? Understanding the components will be beneficial.

It has been mentioned earlier. You might be using the incorrect CPU for your Mobo or you may need a BIOS update. Intel or AMD? The Intel socket 1151 Gen 1 and socket 1151 Gen 2 are different. The 1151 gen1 is compatible with Intel generations 6 and 7,<|pad|> (1151 gen2) fits Intel generations 8 and 9. AMD uses the AM4 socket. The Ryzen 3000 model requires a BIOS update.

I don't care about my specs. It's fine since it runs Minecraft.
Old CPU: Intel Celeron 2.7GHz LGA 775
New CPU: Intel Pantium 3.2GHz LGA 775
CPU Cooler: AVC B645
RAM: Samsung 4GB DDR3
Motherboard: Foxconn LGA 775
Bios: Amiobios
GPU: MSI GeForce GT 630 4GB DDR3
PSU: LCPower 350W
Storage: HDD WD Caviar Green 2TB, SSD Samsung 170GB (OS)
Let me know if you forgot anything.
