They aren’t broken—they’re just not functioning properly. Also, the entire keyboard seems to lose its order unexpectedly for both laptop and USB models, sometimes I’m not sure what caused it.

As others discussed, if your laptop keyboard detects you pressing control even without it, each key press will trigger ctrl+[the pressed key]. This likely causes the random zooming out in Chrome when you scroll. With a USB keyboard connected, the laptop keyboard stays active instead of disconnecting. If this happens, you might try unplugging the keyboard cable and covering it with paper to avoid short circuits. If the problem disappears, it could mean a spill damaged the keyboard and needs replacement.

That's what you were mentioning, right? The spill happened a long time ago and I didn't face this issue until recently, so it's unusual but possible.

Liquid may seem harmless at first, but over time it can lead to corrosion. If not dried properly, small amounts can remain inside devices like laptops and cause problems later.
