I've tried everything to fix the charging issue with my iPhone 7 plus. The port isn't working, chargers don't help, and restarting doesn't solve it. I'm considering a wireless charging solution, but I'm unsure if it's possible without an adapter. Some sources suggest an adapter might be needed, especially since aluminum backs can interfere. Since I don’t have technical skills and my phone holds important data, I’m worried about the risks. Could wireless charging function without an adapter? Is there another way to charge it without replacing the port?

Wireless charging also needs matching hardware within the phone. This involves a coil of wire along with electronic components to regulate voltage and track temperatures. Your creativity is impressive, but in this scenario you're ahead. Still, it's remarkable you managed to keep it running for seven years.

iPhone 7 Plus charging port is a removable component, though it needs dismantling of most of the device. It’s still seen as a simpler alternative to attempting custom wireless charging setups, which aren’t typically done on these models. Any wireless charging accessories for this phone require the port to function, but yours isn’t compatible. https://www.ifixit.com/products/iphone-7...r-assembly

You have two choices: visit a store to replace the charging port or assess the damage and consider an upgrade. It seems this device has a solid durability, lasting quite a while.

You can choose two methods to retrieve information from your phone. Method a involves purchasing a charging port assembly, removing your display, disconnecting the ribbon connector, and inserting a new one. Once positioned, simply connect it and let the device charge before accessing the data. Method b requires buying a battery, following installation steps, powering on the phone, and performing an immediate cloud backup with the remaining power. If the issue is battery-related, you might attempt to charge the phone afterward, though replacing the charging port can be cumbersome.

Thank you for your assistance. Unfortunately, an issue occurred and now my query becomes irrelevant since the only working chargers are missing from my home. Appreciate your support.
