It seems he prefers devices without messy wires. @Serge6 You'll want a Wireless Access Point. High availability makes it a top pick, though alternatives like dual-port models from Netgear or Belkin are available.

I would choose the PRO model for the second gigabit Ethernet port to prevent using the switch.
