Your i9 9900K won't overclock. Need assistance?
I've been trying to fix this for hours without success. A week ago my i9 9900k was overclocked at 5GHz, but after reinstalling Windows it won't work that way anymore. I've tried many fixes—from resetting the CMOS to clearing the BIOS and even reinstalling Windows. The CPU was set up through the BIOS, but whenever I check the clock speed with CPU-Z it's stuck at 3600MHz. Please help me. This issue has been causing my PC to run poorly.
I don't have specific load temperatures or a complete setup. Let me know if you'd like details on general guidelines or requirements.
3600 MHz is the standard rate for a 9900K. This indicates you turned off Intel Turbo Boost. Access the BIOS and verify it’s active so your CPU can operate above its base speed. https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/...0-ghz.html
