You've just installed a new PC and it's experiencing crashes multiple times daily. I adjusted the CPU voltage by -0.085v to keep temperatures around 88-92°C during heavy workloads, which helped reduce the max temperature to 38k points in Renderman Cinebench R23 multicore. However, temperatures occasionally rise to 80°C briefly when launching older games. On the event viewer, you saw a kernel error: 0xC0000035. This issue might contribute to freezing during gameplay, especially with lighter titles like CSGO.

The issue you described is unlikely to lead to problems. Are there any BSODs or immediate crashes? Also, use the free tool "WhoCrashed" at the provided link to check for errors. When investigating, clear all OCs/UVs and run the system with original manufacturer settings. If the problem continues, we can proceed from there.

I'm gaming CS:GO and my whole PC froze without any visible error. If I disabled undervolting and turned on ASUS Multicore Enchantment, the temps would be extremely high as people suggested setting it to “enforce all limits.” This is happening with my ASUS ROG Strix Z790-F motherboard, and apparently they’re giving the CPU too much power. I’ll try your advice when I get back home. Thank you very much.

Turn off both the undervoltage and the ASUS settings. The "multicore enhancement" is merely a euphemism for overclocking.

I tried it but after turning on the “asus feature,” temperatures dropped by 10 degrees.

It seems they likely performed a type of optimization to reduce your CPU voltage, which explains the cooler temperatures.
