Hey, I was hoping today would be the day to connect my PC, but I can't seem to fit my GPU into the motherboard. I even removed everything and took the board out of the case to check for problems, but nothing came up. I've tried being forceful and even scratched the gold plates on the GPU, so I'm not going to try that again. It doesn't seem to help. Anyone have any suggestions? My GPU is an ASUS Radeon 6700 XT on a Z690 motherboard with DDR4 RAM.

I attempted to set it up there, but it slides smoothly yet doesn't fully engage.

I didn’t hear the click either. Make sure the small switches are in the correct position—once you’ve installed it, everything should be fine.

The switches need to be off, or else my GPU would stop working because it isn't linked to the PCIe slot.

This image captures the closest view I could achieve. You can observe how the pins are positioned but not fully inserted.

He’s a RAM slot, but you need to insert it into the white one.

You need to fully push the locking mechanism and then attempt to insert it.
