Hello, I've had some problems with my PC recently. It's only been a month, but games are running choppy and not at 60 FPS. Modern gaming feels even worse. I've tried turning off VSync and enabling it, but nothing seems to help much. I've watched YouTube tutorials and still can't fix it. Do you have any suggestions? I understand it's annoying, but it bothers me a lot. My system specs are: AMD Ryzen 2600 (not overclocked), Asrock B450M Pro 4, Viper 16GB RAM, Adata SU650 480GB, AMD RX 570 8GB.

Which display are you using? Its refresh rate might be adjusted to 30 or 29.

Didn't remember the complete name, but it's a 75Hz Acer model that's at its peak performance.

Your setup won't let you reach the highest performance in current games, so consider reducing the settings slightly. Also, adjust your game settings—there are usually many options available. If you prefer VSync (as I do), set your monitor to 60Hz during gameplay. This increases your chances of maintaining stable FPS. Otherwise, FPS may drop significantly.

I reduce the adjustments for each match, particularly in modernwarfare, yet it retains the same vibe.

Verify your FPS with a tracking tool. Unstable frame rates can cause lag and stutter. When using Vsync, your graphics card must reliably maintain the desired frame rate. For example, if you're targeting 75Hz, it should stay at that rate or adjust smoothly. You can disable Vsync, but frequent jumps between very high and low rates will still feel unstable. An RX 570 offers solid performance, though you might need to tweak settings for smoother results with a newer model like the RX 580 8GB. Capping your frame rate with tools such as RTSS can help achieve consistency.

Hello, You mentioned adjusting the game settings. Do you prefer low or medium levels? For Modern Warfare, it's best to keep them at the lowest. Make sure Vsync is turned off. I understand you should keep the frame rate steady for consistent performance. Let me know if you need more help!

Modern combat operates smoothly at 75 frames per second under standard high performance, and the system maintains this speed consistently across all titles.

I run at a lower setting and it stays around 75 fps, but I was limited to 60 fps earlier and the game still felt unstable.

Disable enhanced synchronization to reduce microstutter. Also shut down VSR, as it also leads to microstutter at higher resolutions compared to native settings.
