Hi there, I'm looking into Cities Skyline or considering purchasing it. The main issue is my Intel Cherrytail quad-core processor running at 1.33Ghz. I only have 2 GB of DDR3L RAM and no dedicated graphics card—just integrated graphics on the CPU. I can run games like Prison Architect, Minecraft, and StarCraft 1. I’m hoping to try Cities Skyline on my laptop. For more info, my machine is from a Korean brand I think is FourYou Digital, known as the iMUz Stormbook 14. Any advice would be great!

SimCity 4 could be a more suitable choice.

I got it working fairly well on my i5 580m with 8GB and 610MB RAM. It should run on the GPU too, though it’s around 7 fps. The big city might have contributed to the slowdown. If you limit the area to about 1 square, it could improve to 5-10 fps.

It requires a lot of CPU power, so a GPU might not be as crucial but the CPU still plays a role.

It doesn't work on my company notebook because it has an i7 processor and a 750M GPU. When I turn off Nvidia, the built-in GPU doesn't function. I'm sure it won't run on yours either.

The CPU is simply insufficient. Certain classic titles, such as older SimCity games, function properly. Modern game elements often aren't compatible with older systems.

It won't work as expected, but a similar game like SimCity 4 should function properly
