I own an HP 2570p that performs well despite its age and older autofocus. However, lately it's been quite frustrating. It activates when needed but then stops after a few minutes. Once I disconnect it and swap in a new battery, it functions for another ten minutes or so, and for a full charge I usually insert it several times—about five to six cycles. The maximum charge capacity is 75%, which I haven't reached. I've tried using different chargers, but the issue remains consistent. For those who claim it's a battery problem (maybe that's me), it seems to work fine for around two hours after full charge. My laptop typically runs about two and a half hours, so this is within normal range. I notice it doesn't charge properly when using the front panel of the laptop, which causes an orange flashing warning. I rely on my computer daily for schoolwork, so any advice would be really appreciated. Thank you all for your time!

It seems the charging connection might be coming loose. Consider using the PC without the battery (they likely had external batteries). If that works, your battery is likely damaged. If not, the charging port is probably bad and can be repaired by soldering.
