This might seem like a question that's been asked before, but I've explored every possible fix that's been suggested, and nothing seems to help. Except for one instance, which I'll address shortly. For about a month, each time I launched a larger game, error messages appeared indicating a connection issue with the game servers. At first, I assumed it was due to my new location being prone to poor internet, so I delayed moving the computer again. Recently, I returned it to a better wireless spot, but the problem persists. I've tried launching CoD Modern Warfare, Valorant, and Dauntless, all of which display the same error. They're played through different launchers. Another odd occurrence is that searching for anything while the game was running would never return results—my connection status always showed as no internet. Once I exited the program, the webpage loaded instantly. Interestingly, smaller games seem to function normally without issues, even though I own larger titles. Internet usage only causes trouble when I try bigger games. I've tried several fixes: cleared CMOS, reset my Wi-Fi card, turned off the network adapter, reset via Windows 10, disabled Microsoft Defender, and reinstalled the driver. After a system reset, some games ran sluggishly but improved after another reset. Eventually, I realized it was the driver updates from Microsoft that were causing the problem. I checked different regions to disable automatic updates, but the issue still occurred. My second good spot had better internet, but I can't change that. I also don't have an Ethernet connection in my room. This has been happening for a few months now. If you need more details or specifics, please let me know.
