I've begun exploring CSGO again after a short pause. Right away, I saw my FPS dropped compared to before. Remembering the old days, I usually hit 150-200 FPS on low settings across most maps. Now, even with the same settings and maps, I'm barely reaching 110 FPS. I haven't adjusted anything on the system or hardware except for two new 27-inch monitors instead of my previous 24-inch one. These screens display 1080p at a higher refresh rate of 144Hz. Could it be the new monitors affecting performance? Well, they still use the same resolution, so the change shouldn’t have caused such a drop. Just the refresh rate difference matters, right?

Have you considered any new programs added recently? Have you attempted a fresh Windows setup before? It might help eliminate software clutter or conflicts that weren’t present when you last used the system. If you prefer, try a clean installation and turn off all other applications except essential services to test performance: How to perform a clean boot in Windows (microsoft.com)
