You're experiencing high temperatures on your i7-4770 under heavy rendering workloads. Since the CPU isn't heat optimized, the elevated temps suggest a need for better cooling or system adjustments. Consider checking case airflow, adding a cooler, or monitoring fan performance. If temperatures remain high, it may be time to upgrade cooling solutions or reassess workload distribution.

You won't break it because it will turn off before it gets hot enough to do that, but you'll probably reduce the life span a bit. However, it is possible that it may be throttling. If either of those are a concern, maybe do a repaste and if the ambient temperature in the case is also high, consider a getting a case fan or removing the side panel.

You're experiencing high temperatures near the thermal limits. Reducing them would be ideal. Adding case fans, removing the side panel, cleaning the radiator, or even taking it apart for a new coating could help. Buying case fans might be a worthwhile investment.

I planned to purchase some fans. I anticipate upgrading this PC soon with a more capable model. The cooler fan was cleaned yesterday, which is a positive step. Due to its compact design, there’s limited room for additional fans, and there aren’t many mounting options or air intake points available. There’s only one airflow vent at the front.

You have many options for customizing your setup. A repaste of the CPU cooler could work well. Taking off the side panel might also make a difference depending on your project.

Processing demands are high on the CPU, especially in an office setup where the stock Intel cooler might not suffice. A budget cooler upgrade and fresh thermal paste would likely help, given the age of the Haswell chipset.
