I’m just starting with PCs and wanted to know why my core speed on the Ryzen 2600x feels so fast. When I power it on, it’s running at 3600MHz, but right now it’s at 4200MHz. I think this might be related to my power plan—maybe "Ryzen Balanced" is the one. My EDC stays high, around 80% or more, and I notice the CPU settings reset to stock mode each time I try to change them. Thanks!
I realized what was going on. The Core Performance Boost was turned on automatically. I turned it off and my core speed returned to 3600.
