My temperatures are a bit elevated and unsettling. My Asrock 6950xt OC runs at around 45°C, which is acceptable, but during gaming it climbs to 103-109°C and stays there unless I lower the graphics settings or switch to lower power modes. My Ryzen 9 7900X has a 270mm AIO cooler that keeps idle temps at 64°C and rises to 80-90°C under load. Why is my idle temperature so high? Consider upgrading to a larger air cooler and replacing the AIO. Also, check if your front fans are working properly—three in front and two at the top, plus one back. Should I adjust the GPU’s fan speed settings?

Hi there! Are you using any fan curves or overclocking? Do you power it on or off with the side panel?

You've noticed three intense gaming sessions with high temperatures inside the case. Check the internal temperatures and see if they drop noticeably. If not, airflow might be the issue. Try opening the case and testing games to monitor heat levels. A better solution could involve rotating the GPU and using exhaust fans more aggressively to generate negative pressure.

Ensure your PC is clean and the fans are working correctly. Does your setup become noisy during GPU overheating?

I do not agree at all. That GPU is absolutely not suffocating against the glass. There's plenty of room in front of it. As for what the issue is: Have you tried running without the front panel on the case? See if that helps any? Top Fans: Those look to be intake currently, unless they're reverse blade? Double Check those. CPU: Ryzen 7000 run hot, so you can fully expect that to go to 85-90c regularly. That's not unusual. GPU: Probably should be a little cooler. What model are the fans? How fast are your fans running? Can you post a pic of the front fans where they're installed?

It seems most intakes have only one exhaust. Unless the upper fans are reverse-blade, try swapping the rear fan and see if it improves performance.

Yes, the air cooler helps, but the GPU position is really affecting performance. You can still use it, just add a thermal paste and it should work better.

It's completely futile with that setup. A good air cooler would really help. Even with the case fans, things could improve.

Sure, I'm uncertain whether an air cooler would work with this vertical installation. However, it seems like it might be a good fit.

I wanted to highlight that I recommended a basic test to observe temperature changes without any panel blocking. I also shared a workaround if a side panel is involved. A GPU doesn't need to be overwhelmed directly, but its cooler layout directs 50% of the exhaust downward, which gets reused thanks to the heat column effect. This aspect is crucial to keep in mind. I think you're right—front fans could indeed be reversed.
