your home setup has a fast 200Mbps connection, but latency issues are affecting your online experience. despite being wired and using a reliable TP-link, you're experiencing high ping times (16-30ms) and inconsistent game performance. the problem seems tied to how your connection behaves across different sites or servers, possibly due to network congestion or routing. the attached SS should help visualize the connection quality. consider checking your router settings, updating firmware, or testing with a different device to rule out local issues.

Welcome to wifi and why you shouldn't be gaming on it. This is normal with wifi and gets worse the farther away from the router you are and the more objects the signal has to pass through.

I understand this passage isn't the most straightforward, but it definitely stood out to me...

It seems like you're thinking the signal might be coming through power lines instead of Ethernet. Let me know how I can help!

those who experience this on Wi-Fi usually have faced problems before. Comcast has definitely been the issue for me since March. I used to have about 20% packet loss—which was pretty bad—now it's much better, though I still encounter some loss and spikes. I recommend giving it another try with a wired connection, as it might be Wi-Fi again. If the problem persists, it's best to contact your ISP.

They claim to be connected instantly, even without cables. Some say it works through hidden wires or power lines.
