Your connected internet often drops when you fall asleep and wake up. It's really bothersome to turn it off manually.

I've already disabled the power-saving feature to prevent the device from shutting down, yet it continues to disconnect. It seems the issue might be related to the device connected to your PC, especially since you recently installed a new mesh system from your provider. The problem started after connecting your PC to it and using it as a pass-through for ease. Your PC is located far from the modem.
more information please!!! what operating system? what kind of nic are you using? have you also disabled power-saving Ethernet on your router/switch?
You have a wireless router equipped with mesh access points, and your computer is connected to one of them. You're wondering if you connected via Wi-Fi, tried a different channel, or used another Ethernet cable. It would be helpful to know the router model, access points, and your system specifications.
I'm sorry, I didn't catch the details about your setup. It seems you're using a Windows 11 system with a combo modem, router, and mesh extender. The PC stays connected even when in sleep mode, despite adjusting power settings. Everything was working as expected until now.
To locate the issue, you can connect a cable straight from your router to your computer and observe if it disconnects during sleep. This might point to the mesh device or the router itself. I recall reading about routers offering power-saving options that reduce signal strength in low-power modes. You could try adjusting or disabling those settings on the router or with your ISP.
Sorry for the lag, I was really occupied with school and didn’t have time to review this until now. I’m sure it doesn’t matter whether I’m linked to the new mesh box or the new modem—they both handle the same tasks for my PC, putting the wired setup into sleep or disconnection when my computer goes to sleep.
It seems the router might be the problem. Reach out to your ISP to adjust the router settings or get guidance on the issue.
