Hey everyone! I've been facing a puzzling issue lately. After two years of using my PC, I've never seen anything like this. Every time I power it on, the motherboard lights up a specific error sequence to check things. Recently, during startup, it stuck on a yellow color, which suggested RAM problems. After replacing the RAM and everything worked fine, I got another blank screen with a white color, indicating GPU issues. I fixed it by reseating the GPU (RTX 2060) and it functioned properly. Now I'm turning it off, and this time the CPU shows red, followed by white after reboot. The PC is running normally, but the CPU temperature stays around 50-60°C during games (it's an AMD Ryzen 7 2700x). What might have caused this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
As suggested by the previous owner, reset the BIOS to its original settings. Begin by powering off and disconnecting your power source, then take out the button cell battery from the motherboard. Allow a minute and then reinsert it. Your BIOS will return to its factory defaults. Keep track of any custom changes you made before resetting. If the issue persists after this step, your motherboard could be faulty. It's unclear if the warranty will still cover it after two years, especially since the errors seem to affect different parts each time. It's possible your power supply is the culprit, though less likely. If problems continue, consider switching to a different power supply to determine if it was the root cause.
I've faced the same problems with an x470-i Strix board from Asus. It didn't work well for me.
