Your computer stops working right away when you start Windows 11.
Hi, my computer on Windows 11 freezes right after I start it up. The lights even stop shining when the PC is starting this problem happens randomly and usually happens in the first few minutes of using the machine. After that, most times nothing else goes wrong. When a freeze starts up, I have to hold down the power button to shut off the computer. Then if I try to turn it back on using the power button, the lights stop at the RAM light and do not change anything else. To get the PC running again I had to cut the power completely wait for about a minute and then turn it back on. The computer boots up into windows but it freezes in a minute or so. If you need more info please ask me. Thanks in advance and hopefully we can find a fix. Windows: 22H2 Build 22621.2283
What are the specs of your computer? Have you tried Safe Mode to see if that fixes the issue? Go to Settings/your system recovery and look for Advanced Startup, then click Restart Now. You will see a blue menu appear. Choose Troubleshoot > Advanced Startup > Restart. Click restart again until you reach Start Menu, select Safe Mode (you can pick any option), and press Enter. If it doesn't work, the problem might be a driver or maybe your hardware is just broken because even in Safe Mode the PC acts weird compared to normal mode.
I tried Safe Mode but I can't log in because the PIN isn't set there, and the system said it wasn't working even when I was trying to use that trick.
It sounds like POST is saying something about a memory problem! You really should never ignore signs like this since they mean something. First, take out your memory sticks and put them back in carefully to see if that fixes it. Second, if you have more than one stick, remove one of them and try again. Keep going until every single stick has been taken out before putting it all back together.
