You’ve powered on your PC, but the motherboard lights aren’t showing, the CPU is active, and RGB works fine—yet USB and display aren’t displaying correctly. Try checking connections, resetting the system, or consulting the manual for further steps.

You’ll need more details about your setup. Are there any beeps indicating P.O.S.T codes? Are there LEDs on the debug lights on the monitor? Do you have an IGPU or GPU? If yes, disconnect the GPU and connect your monitor to the IGPU for testing. If that doesn’t work, remove the RAM and power it with just one stick; if it still fails, replace it and try again, then swap into another slot until it works.

I employ a Ryzen 9 5950 RX 3070 with 32GB RAM, an MSI X570s Tomahawk Max Wi-Fi. The debug light is red on the CPU. I don’t have an integrated GPU or any extra GPU; this PC wasn’t assembled by me, so I’m unsure how to access the RAM directly. I attempted to remove the CMOS battery and used the BIOS reset button on the back, but it didn’t help. Updated November 14, 2022 by AlexStarr

The computer has worked without issues for several months. I connected it and used it normally for nearly a year now.

Secure your way into the RAM, remove it completely, and start booting one stick at a time. Follow a tutorial on YouTube—it’s quite straightforward, just proceed carefully. It might indicate a failing motherboard or CPU, so proceed with caution.

Now I can handle it without constantly showing the red light. It flashes white briefly, then green appears, but the display doesn’t work properly.
