Usually, I press the shutdown button but it doesn’t stop working, and when I press sleep it turns off instantly. Could you help me with this?

Sleeping safely is known for being unreliable, even when connected locally. Is the system simply refusing to power off or are only a few programs stuck that need to be closed?

I hit the stop button, and then it switches into a drowsy state, not sure if this works.

Verify the power button connection on your motherboard remains secure, without any movement. Do not press the power button regardless of the situation.

I faced a comparable issue with my current board at first, which was quite frustrating to resolve. It turned out the LAN driver settings were the culprit. Navigate to DeviceManager, select your LAN adapter, go to Power Management, uncheck all options under Wake on LAN, then apply and close. The issue should be resolved.
