I recently increased my PC's clock speed but sometimes it reports a failure and prompts me to run setup. After restarting, it usually works again. Is this normal or should I disregard it?

It indicates that the OC is not stable, possibly because of factors such as low voltage, excessive heat, or insufficient power (PSU). This issue needs to be resolved by carefully redoing the OC process in small steps, testing for stability after each one. Running prime95 for a few hours can help confirm a stable OC once achieved.
