I'm just getting into the pc building scene and built a budget machine last year. When it first started, everything worked fine but after shutdown, some issues appeared. First, the GPU fan was spinning but the display stayed on and then stopped completely. The only thing active was the LED light on my motherboards. I took it to a local shop that sells parts, they said the GPU was dead. It was a secondhand unit, an RTX 3070, and it had only been used for two years. I asked what might have caused the failure, but they couldn't open it to check for damage. They suggested it could be the power supply unit, which is a cheap Xmega 3 650W model. I really need this PC for my studies and design, so I'm hoping someone can help me with this problem. The video I recorded is attached, but it's not very clear due to size limitations.
