You're experiencing issues where changing your boot settings to SSD only works, but your HDD disappears from the system. When you use the HDD, the OS displays it as storage, but games load poorly—drive shows 0% and performance drops significantly. Someone, please assist with this problem.
Consider using another SATA port for your hard drive. Are Windows installed on both the SSD and HDD? Unplug the HDD and just use the SSD. What happens to the system performance?
Sorry, I'm uncertain if my reply is correct since this is my first use of this. I've tested another SATA port before. Before the SSD appeared (booting from HDD), it wasn't showing up. Now it does. Both SSD and HDD are installed on Windows, and the PC runs without issues. However, when plugged in, the HDD doesn't detect properly. (I'm using the SSD for booting.) If I start with the HDD, the SSD shows in File Explorer, but I'm not sure it functions well since it stays at 0 even during gameplay. I'm unsure if this affects my current problem, though. Recently, after installing the SSD, the HDD's response time has increased significantly, even when minimal activity is present on the PC.
