Whenever I play Rust, I often see that Windows alert in the bottom right corner, mentioning things like "system reserved" on my SSD and HDD. It keeps appearing and disappearing. Now when I open my files, only the SSD is visible, even though I have a hard drive as well. The hard drive sometimes shows up and then vanishes. The strangest part is that when I have my files open, it seems like an old "d: system deserved" drive has appeared. It uses 80MB of space out of 80MB, but it only shows one image—probably a photo from about three years ago. I own two drives, but I’m not sure what they are. Now I can’t locate my hard drive; it just appears and disappears. This has never happened before.

Here’s a visual reference of Disk Management to check your drive setup. When you set up Windows, it often creates a small reserved area and gives it a drive letter.

The hard drive is likely failing if it keeps vanishing, unless the SATA cable is loose or the port on the controller is defective. The specific device running the game isn't mentioned in the information provided.

I don't manage to save my second hard drive in the photo, yet the "system reserved" alert appears occasionally, opening the drive just like pressing on it would. The first picture I received was quick, but it vanished rapidly.

Refers to the Disk Management feature that displays physical drives, partitions, and their assigned letters. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/window...management This tool works on both Windows Server and regular desktop versions. You might receive warnings about Drive D: "System Reserved" lacking space, but it shouldn't appear in This Computer since it shouldn't have a letter assigned.
