Recently I reset my CMOS battery due to slow performance, but when trying to boot up the PC nothing appeared and the keyboard lights failed to activate. After plugging in components on the motherboard, the computer started cycling on and off repeatedly. Eventually it turned back on. An orange indicator appeared on the motherboard. Now I frequently encounter crashes and have to repeat these steps often. A blue screen appeared displaying “KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED.” If you alter the power supply wires in certain ways it shuts down completely. Should I try resetting the CMOS battery again or replace the part? My system specs include a Gigabyte B450M DS3H V2, Ryzen 5 5600X, Barracuda 2 TB HDD, Samsung 870 EVO SATA III, 1 TB SSD, Windows 11 32 GB, and a 4000 MHz RAM setup with a 600W gold power supply.
