I'm setting up the motherboard inside the case right now. It's an ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-F Gaming with an NZXT H710 case. I've put the board in but only have space for eight screws, and the center one seems to cover a hole. Should I try using it or check if the case actually supports nine holes?

It's usually a peg, not a screw. I only ever used two screws on my motherboard.

I reviewed the motherboard guide and saw the screw size listed as 9. I’m trying to figure out what that means for my setup without checking the manual again. Just making sure I didn’t misplace anything or do something incorrect.

Check relevant legal resources or court decisions that specifically address cases with an outcome of 8. You may also consult a legal expert for confirmation.

I understand your concern, but it seems there’s no reference to the NZXT H710 in that context. You might be wondering why it isn’t mentioned.

The choice of board matters a lot. Certain boards have obstacles around the center opening, while others don’t. By default, the ATX design includes nine screws, which is why many recommend following their setup.
