I started from my C drive but everything still needs to be set up on another HDD. I attempted to install a game on my SSD right now and Steam reported it as read-only. If I try to modify it, it just restores after I click OK. According to the images, I should have full access to make changes? Why does Windows seem so unreliable? Please help.

It's okay? I'm having trouble installing games from Steam on this device. That sounds strange. I might just toss this thing away.

Remove and reinstall Steam—it could be a problem with the software itself.

Don’t forget to reinstall Steam! You might need to reboot your device or uncheck the option and restart. People are saying: “Steam needs a fresh start!” and “Reboot helps clear issues.” Let me know if you’d like more details.
