Hello everyone, I've been considering upgrading my CPU but prefer not to switch to a new B550 motherboard. Since many B450 boards support RYZEN 5000 series, I thought an upgrade wasn't necessary. I'm worried about losing some cooler VRM performance, but I just wanted to ask: did the manufacturer list RYZEN 5000 support on their site? Also, I updated my BIOS to version 3002 recently. Could you confirm if this model is compatible with RYZEN 5000? And if I don't upgrade soon to a B550 board, is skipping it a big deal?

The official support page confirms that all BIOS versions from 2409 can run Ryzen 5000 on that board. Since 3002 is newer than 2409, you should be fine without needing a hardware upgrade.
