Review the motherboard manual carefully. The table on page 20 outlines important details. For two PCIe NVMe drives, use only ports 0 through 3—ports 4 and 5 are not available. The board can still accommodate an SSD, but it won’t perform at its best; it will operate in Gen3 mode only. Consider opting for a Gen3 model to get better results.
