Your 6950xt device stops working after just half a second.
Today, upon waking up my PC from sleep after work, it turned on normally, but when I entered the username/password screen, after just half a second it completely went black. "No video output" remained visible. This issue has happened before too—after waking up in sleep mode. When I press the start button, the PC powers on but shows only a blank screen. After turning it off and back on again, everything works fine. It’s been this way for about six months now. Now it’s just black, and no reboots help. I’m currently using my CPU graphics and have tried reinstalling the drivers.
The card displays a partial image, which suggests it’s not completely dead, so there might be a driver problem—possibly with the GPU or a Windows update?
Thanks for any assistance!

Update your post with complete hardware details and operating system information. Provide the power supply specifications, including voltage, amperage, age, and condition (original, build, refurbished, used). List the disk drive specifications such as make, model, and capacity, along with current usage. Include a description of all connected peripherals. Clarify whether the network connection is wired or wireless.
Please let me know what information you need. Would a BIOS update combined with resetting the CMOS be helpful? Also, consider re-seating the RAM and GPU, verifying all power supply connections to the motherboard and drives, and checking your video cable. If these steps improve stability, try disabling hibernate in the sleep settings. I’ve experienced issues with the hibernate function disrupting my PC. I hope this advice assists you in getting your system back online. Please specify the diagnostic actions you plan to take and share the outcomes. Thank you.
With assistance from Chatgpt, I resolved the problem. The issue involves a DisplayPort Handshake problem. The display cable seems to trigger crashes, while switching to HDMI works without issues. Chatgpt suggests it likely occurred after a driver and Windows update caused tension that the monitor couldn't manage. It could also be due to a faulty cable, though it functions properly with the CPU graphics.
