It's possible the 500GB storage is divided into two equal parts, each holding half the total space.

When you created the clone, it might have treated the source as a 250GB storage and set the new drive to match that size. You can view the Disk Management image to check for any partitions there. Alternatively, you could re-clone using the Samsung Data Migration Tool, as it’s optimized for Samsung drives.
