If you skip activating Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC, the changes to desktop and taskbar settings remain the same across Home and Pro editions. The main differences lie in additional features and restrictions available only in Enterprise versions.

It seems to resemble a Windows Server setup with an extended trial period, followed by automatic shutdown after about an hour. Would you like to explore this further?

I thinking of using it as the primary OS. But for trying it's a bit dangerous if i do something important and it shuts down after an hour. It would also be interesting to know, if the restrictions changes after ignoring the activation for a longer time, like a year. But it can be possible that someone know the problems.

For desktop, simply use the standard Windows version; it works well for that purpose. Licensing LTS versions isn't possible on desktops either.

The licensing issue is the main concern here. I'm requesting to bypass the activation process. The Enterprise LTSC version offers significant benefits over the Pro version. -10 years of support with no quarterly feature updates. -Telemetry can be completely turned off. -No applications are installed.

There are several concerns too, such as hardware and software support, limited security options. It isn't suggested for desktop use due to these factors. Additionally, features like apps and telemetry can be turned off in other versions if needed. Unactivated versions behave differently, so please activate it if you plan to use it. Consider getting a VL account and purchasing it.

I was also having trouble with the registration for the LTSC evaluation version. It seems like creating a VL account might not be possible for me. I'm not confident about using third-party keys. For the Windows 10 Pro version, I can still use my Win 7 Pro key. I need to figure this out or try it in a VM when I get an image.
