When I run my games, a FPS counter appears each time, showing GPU and CPU temperatures. It's not from Steam, and it pops up in the top left corner. This is really bothersome.

Yes, there are tools and software designed to track FPS automatically, often integrating with gaming platforms to show real-time performance metrics during gameplay.

I'm not certain because I don't own the game, but it seems like a stats counter and temperature monitor. It might be an option in the settings that you can turn off. DOOM includes something similar.

When the frame rate indicator remains consistent in various titles, it suggests an outside application is launching upon game start.

It seems you're asking about possible choices or the location of a setting. Could you clarify which scenario or context you're referring to? That way I can provide a more accurate response.

I don't have personal experience, but I can confirm whether NZXT's CAM is installed on your system if you provide more details about your setup.

Ah, I saw the overlay when you launch CAM—it has a games section where you can adjust settings to disable OSD monitoring.
